Duncan studied Graphic Design at Watford College, where he first connected with Mod culture—drawn to its sharp style, music and attitude.

He’s worked as an Art Director in advertising for over 30 years, creating campaigns for major brands while developing his passion for photography on the side. In 2015, a spontaneous shoot with a group of Mods in North London led to Mad Mods And A Camera—a personal project capturing the spirit and style of modern Mod life.

Since then, he’s documented a wide range of Mod subcultures across the UK.
