We are:

Darklight 🏴‍☠️👋🏻  We commission photographers, artists and illustrators to create visuals for brands and agencies. Past campaigns have included: Nike, Adidas, Virgin Atlantic, Hennessy. We also share our knowledge –industry insights and tips on all things visual culture– with photographers, helping them grow their business and improve their portfolios.

We’re looking for: 

A freelance socials specialist or junior marketeer, with experience in any/many of the following areas:

Primary focus

⛓️ Owning and growing a brands’ organic socials — on Instagram [+TikTok] from channel strategy, to asset creation and execution as well as community management and performance analysis

⛓️ Community management [primed to help grow our Whatsapp community of photographers]

Great if you have in addition:

⛓️ Email marketing experience– longer form writing expertise [bonus if you have SEO writing knowledge]

Do you have experience managing a brand’s Instagram and/or TikTok? Have you produced a social strategy that’s grown communities, created fresh content that’s driven great results? Maybe, in addition, you’ve got email marketing experience and/or written longer form editorial content? 👀

Ideally, you are: 

• An IG/TikTok pro: down with the latest trends, best practises and formats
• Audience minded – with a strategic and creative approach to forming a socials strategy and content calendar accordingly
• Comfortable producing all assets, in Figma [or similar] / in-app, copywriting and analysing performance
• Are a strong fit with the brand, confident you could master our tone of voice
• Interested in AI and ready to integrate it into your workflows
• Passionate about photography, art and culture 💁🏼💅🏾

You’ll be working closely with the team, and holding the wider marketing strategy top of mind to inform your strategy, content pillars and goals.

Scope of work: 1-3 days/week, depending on your skillset/rate

Located: UK [with ability to travel to London 1/month], or Amsterdam
