Production & Art Buying
For On’s FW26 product shoot, the client was looking for a series of images that were not your average trainer shots. They wanted to elevate beyond the CGI world of shoes. The images needed to be more like a photographic study, showcasing the obsessive product design and engineering.

The aim was for the shots to be sculptural, with incredible attention to lighting, texture and tone. We were tasked with finding a photographer who was up to delivering on technical precision. We commissioned Alex Cascallana for his bold imagery, brilliant technical ability and masterful use of light.
Alex brought his ideas, aesthetic and enthusiasm to the project, elevating it to exactly where we needed it to be. The Darklight team managed the pre production, the 3 day shoot in Madrid with the help of the fabulous local Spanish production team at Noba [would recommend – delightful and brilliant crew] and post through to delivery.
