Andrés Reisinger, on pink

Here at Darklight Art monochrome may be our wife, but pink is our mistress. We just can’t help ourselves.

Nor can Andrés Reisinger – the Barcelona-based artist whose like-the-physical-world-but-better 3D designs and digital creations are characterised by his rhapsodic application of pink. Whether he’s creating fantastical lunar landscapes, marshmallowy extensions to urban architecture or furniture with digital upholstery so deliciously textured it appears edible, pink creeps in. [We all know that pink food tastes the best, why should chairs be any different?]

We spoke with Andrés about his, and our, favourite colour.
